This traditional Pale ale oiffers not typical notes of citrus on the nose from the hops and this works into a balnced sweet palate with a lighlty bitter finish.

12oz bottle from Crossroads Beer & Wine, Burlington, MA. Stated ABV is 5.8%. Pours amber with a thin white head; some grassy German-style hops on the aroma; sweet malty flavour; with a light zing from some dusty hops to finish. Pleasant enought to drink, but not what I’d expect from an APA.

Tried the Irish stout. Good head retention, nice stout but not a dry stout. Just a bit sweet to be a dry stout. I’d brew it though.

(draught - Logan) light amber/gold with small white head. Malt/hops aroma. Balanced malt/hop flavor. Very drinkable pale ale if not exciting. More English style than American (except for choice of hops)

Copper. Clear. Weak head. English malt and hops in the aroma. Unfortunate... oh, these English beers.

Cask at the Fenway location. Pours a cloudy orange with a sliver of white head. Aroma of grassy, citrusy hops. Flavor is also very hop forward with hop resins and caramel malt. Actually quite a tasty hoppy cask ale. I’d recommend it!

Clear orange to copper red beer, creamy off-white head, stable and adhesive. Aroma: sweet peaches, some citrus. MF: light carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, citrus, peaches, some pineapple, apple skin. Aftertaste: gentle bitter, still fruity, dry ending.

A: This one pours amber in color with a white head.
S: Smells rather bland. Seems to be mostly bready malt with a light floral and grass hop note. Maybe some toasted malt and toffee.
T: A very grassy hop flavor. Light bitterness with some yeast and bready malts. Also sort of bland. A very faint fruit note in there somewhere, maybe we’ll call it citrus peel.
M: Light bodied with medium carbonation.
O: Rather lackluster and unenjoyable pale ale. I’d skip this one.

Pretty good, the only minor flaw was that it was slightly doggy smelling at times. Floral, grapefruit peel, tangy, medium bittering, lightly sweet. Medium mouth. Great label. Thanks to Lucky Dog for driving this back.

Not that great. I almost think I got a bad bottle. It’s bitter and has a kind of sour aftertaste. I’ll drink it again if someone buys it for me, but that it.

(Rating #3677)
