tap @ fenway. had this one around the holidays... nice spices, gingerbread, cinnamon flavors... but tricky brew to match with something else if you’re also sitting down to eat. did go well with dessert.

EBF 05 - Highly spiced brew that poured light amber. Spice is all I pick up, no malt and very watery thin. Like seltzer with cinnamon and ginger blended in. Did not enjoy this one.

XBF05: Dark cloudy orange/brown with a sparse head. Molasses and ginger bread in the aroma, with a touch of cinnamon, starts and ends lightly sweet. A little odd tasting near the end.

Light brownish color. Nice aroma of gingerbread, mint, apple. Thin body, watery, not particularly solid nor interesting, doesn’t live up to the aroma.

@ Fenway location. Spent time talking with Brewer, Jodi, about it. Wish I took more notes. Good aroma, like the name, Gingerbread all the way. Hazy brownish orange color. Sweet and spicy flavors. Apple, carmel, ginger. Thinner bodied, Watery mouthfeel, dry finish. Tasty brew, easy drinking. Nice winter brew.
