(Draught) Pours a cloudy deep orange body with a medium-sized creamy yellowish head. Aroma of floral, grain, and grass. Flavor of hops (orange, floral), light banana, and caramel malt with a somewhat dry and moderately bitter finish.

On tap at Boston Beer Works, Canal Street, Boston MA, 29 October 2009. Dark coppery red colour. Tight off-white head. Fruity malt aroma - some berries. A bit too much volatile gluey character. Sweet, fruity palate. A little estery vanilla/bubblegum. Touches of spicy hops. Vaguely herbal/medicinal edge. Maybe a hint of licorice. Bittersweet mouthfeel but it is the sweetness that lingers into the aftertaste. Tasty but a bit too much in the residual sugar department for my taste. Didn’t really seem like an IPA to me.

A hazy orange amber ale with a thin white head. Light cinnamon and cloves aroma. In mouth, a rather solventy malt with bay leaves, dilute cinnamon, again very short. On tap at Fenway brewpub, Oct. 12 2008.
