COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our ode to St. Patrick. This light ale is brewed by adding boiled potatoes to the mash as an additional source of starch. This beer has an earthy malt aroma, light body and a very dry finish.

Their answer to celebrating the holiday in Boston, without doing some kind of green dye that would mess up their draught lines, I suppose. An interesting brew. Would probably never think to order it specially again, but it’s not bad. You definitely taste the potatoes, and you get a slightly meaty feel to the beer, even though it looks light-bodied. A hidden spice flavor in there as well, which I couldn’t pick out. A must if you’re in the place and want something different.

on tap-pours a light tan head with gold color. Aroma is grain, hops. Taste is grain, lightly hopped, mellow. OK carbonation.
