On tap at Fenway. No proper notes really but this one was really enjoyable for me. Great chocolate aroma and flavor. Reminded me very much of chocolate milk and brownies.

From tap at Fenway. Pours dark brown to black with a small, creamy and tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and slight chocolate. Roasted, mild fruity from back of the nose and powdery chocolate. Roasted malty and slight bitter finish. Ends medium dry and with a lingering chocolate note.

Nice dark colored pour with some lighter notes of malt and cocoa. The mouthfeel gives you a bit of dark chocolate that rolls into a nice muted cocoa finish.

Poured from the tap into a pint glass. The color is a dark black with a single finger of foamy light brown head. The smell is of slight chocolate ans some malty flavor in the background. The taste was a little muted, chocolate and some caramel flavor and some slight bitterness. A little bit of creamy flavor also hinted in the flavor. The beer was smooth but not very. An underlying aftertaste left me wondering what was that defining character in the aftertaste. Never quite placed it but overall, not a bad beer.

Draft @ Fenway, 2/20/09. Pours a dark brown color with a brown head. Nose is chocolate and cocoa. Palate is smooth, kinda light, with a bubbly presence. Flavor is chocolate and light dark malt notes.
