Bottle at home. Has a clear amber colour with a medium, ivory head. Malty aroma with leather, sweet corn, hay and cooked vegetables. Malty flavour as well with more leather, fudge, sweet malt and dried fruit. Has a slick mouth feel, and a light to medium bitterness. The aroma is light and malty but the flavour is pleasant and well balanced.

UlMa (14) - North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - AUG 4, 2014
Very german industrie standard beer. The ground taste is like all beers from Neuzelle which seems to come from the yeast that is been used there. Nothing special and a little overpriced

MoritzF (8590) - Bochum, GERMANY - JUN 1, 2014
(bottle) Clear, amber to copper colour with a beige and big foamy head. Slightly sugary caramel-malty aroma with traces of molasses and nuts. Sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly nutty cara-malt character with subtle fruity accents; sweet malt-accented finish with notes of caramel and a rather restrained hoppy touch. Lacks a bit more hops character. 17.V.14

bartlebier (1970) - Belchum im Breisgau, GERMANY - MAY 25, 2014
50cl bottle from bierpost DE craft sampler, bb 01/2015. Some tomato and carrot in the nose, apart from otherwise pleasing fragrant caramalts and ditto hops (Summit). Bit of a hop bite wrapped by smooth malt aromatics, but ultimately too tame for its style and 6,1%. Still more convincing than their XPA.
