COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fresh pine and citrus hops meet roasted malts. We think it’s all the things a Black IPA should be.

On tap at Ölrepubliken. Dark brown with tanned head. Smell is roasted coffee chocolate malty and pine floral citrus hops. Taste is malty with roasted coffee chocolate malt and floral citrus pine. Dry with medium bitterness and low carbonation.

Served from a fake beer engine at The Bishop’s Arms in Gothenburg. Black. Beige head and lacing. Aroma of citrus, liquorice and pine. Similar taste and aftertastem bitter liquorice in aftertaste. Still with citrus. Particularly grapefruit. Interesting, perhaps. Astringent mouthfeel.

On tap at Brewdog Stockholm, april 18th 2014. Black body with a creamy light brown head. Aroma of peach, mango, pine and roasted malt. Taste is nicely balanced of roastiness and fruity hops, with a touch of licorice and a zesty dry finish. Refreshing fuity aftertaste with no roast. Very nice!

Clear dark brown beer, small creamy beige head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very hoppy, resinous, grassy, fruity. MF: ok carbon, medium body, creamy texture. Taste: bitter hops, grassy, some citrus, caramel, some vanilla, bitter. Aftertaste: hoppy, grassy, resinous, little roasted, very piny, dry.

Bottle at Beerbliotek, june 28. Pours black with a creamy tan head. Aroma is light roasted, grassy, pine, citrus, grain. Taste is medium sweet with a medium dry roasted and hoppy finish. Medium bodied.

330 mml bottle tasted on 17/08/2014. Hazy dark brown colour with a creamy beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, hops, chocolate and coffee. Taste is very roasty and hoppy with notes of dark chocolate. A little bitter aftertaste with a touch of dry. Medium body and perfect carbonation for a Black I.P.A. A little of sediment. Very nice and well balanced beer. Next one please!
