COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fresh pine and citrus hops meet roasted malts. We think it’s all the things a Black IPA should be.

bottle at home. poured a slight hazy black colour with a huge tan head. chocolate malts, roast, milk chocolate, pines, earth tones, bitterness. taste of grapefruit, citrus, lemon peel. this could be such a great black ipa. but for me the bitterness has the overtone ins this beer. should be a lot better if they used a bit more chocolate and malts

33 cL bottle at home, gusher. Pours hazy dark brown with a large tanned head. Nice arome with the right mix between the chocolaty malts and the fruity hops. Taste has chocolate, malts, red fruits, mango, some earthy notes and a medium bitter finish. Medium body and carbo. Nice stuff.

300 ml bottle Great black colour, huge creamy beige, very stable head, light carbonation. Aroma of pine, mango, pineapple, resin, grapefruit, some roasted malty aroma. Taste is malts, fruity hops, liquorice. That’s very refreshing beer, perfectly balanced.

Towering greige head, slowly collapsing over near-black opaque red-brown beer. End of bottle solid yeast. Ultra-dry hops’ nose, dry hopbales, Hessian sacks, but definitely appetizing. Hint at astringency, already in the nose. Again ultra-dry-bitter-hoppy, with an outspoken bitter-metallic finish, long lasting. Hint at liquorice without sweetness quinine. Warming up, roasted barley. Chewy, very slick to viscous, without being really full-bodied. Hopbitter overdose. Pity.

330ml bottle. Black colour with huge, firm, frothy to creamy, fully lasting, superbly lacing, tan head. Roasty dark malty aroma, slightly citrusy and piney hoppy overtones with hints of herbs and grass, a peppery touch. Taste is roasty dark malty, a touch of coffee, mild bitter and slightly citrusy hoppy overtones with herbal and grassy touch, cautious hints of pine, a pepper touch.

Bottle @ home. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, big fruity and earthy hops, slight caramel. Nice. Flavour is quite bitter of roast, some fruity bitter hop notes, liquorice. Long lingering roasty bitterness. Too much for the body imho, but still a nice beer.

Almost opaque dark brown - black beer. Small pale tan head. Light fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts with light touches of dark chocolate and coffee. Nice balanced hops - mellow pine, a little citrus and a pinch of hops spice. A little dark malt cream develops before the semi dry finish then a brief flash of tropical fruits. Tasty and well balanced black IPA. Lots going on and very drinkable.
