Sweet fruit and berry aromas work together with a light malt body in this easy drinking Rye India Pale Ale (IPA), where we use 20% Rye in the malt profile.

Draught at Haket, Göteborg. Cloudy golden beer with a nice and lasting offwhite head. Hoppy citrus aroma, grassy, peach, pine apples, some caramel. Hoppy grape and caramel flavor, citrus, grass, rye bread, biscuit notes. Quite nice.

Bottle @ Ölstugan Tullen. Pours hazy reddish brown with a creamy reddish brownish white head that slowly dissipates while leaving some sticky lacing and trace on the glass. Smell is malty and fruity with dark bread, mango, pineapple, grapefruit juice, black pepper, wood, passionfruit, pine needles, grass and hints of cat piss. Taste is very tiny sweet, bitter, malty and fruity with dark bread, biscuits, pine needles, freshly cut grass, mango, pineapple, apricots, passionfruit, wood, moist soil, black peppercorns, grapefruit rinds and lemon zest. Mouthfeel is soft, round, slightly astringent and medium bodied. Finish is bitter with dark bread, grapefruit rinds, pine needles, lemon zest, black pepper corns, wood and freshly cut grass. Solid stuff!

Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Cloudy copper colour, mid sized head. Bready pepper nose with blueberry and grapefruit. Mid sweet with solid body and surprisingly soft mouthfeel. Mild grapefruit and red berries, spicy bitter finish with some whipped cream. Soothing, yet quite intense. Not really complex, but a really well made IPA.
