Our Smoked Porter is brewed with 40% Beech Smoked Malt. We added Ancho Mulato Chilli to the fermenter for a complex aroma and a rich, full mouthfeel.

Bottle at Olrepubliken, Goteborg, 21/03/14. Extremely dark mahogany brown/light black with a good sized tan head that clears to a edgework. Nose is dark malts, chocolate, light smoke, charred wood, dark toffee fudge. Taste comprises rich milk chocolate, very subtle smoke, toffee, caramel, dark berry licks. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light sweet pangs. Solid porter, the smoke is pretty damn subtle in this one.

Draft. A black beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and hints of smoke. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolte, and a bit of smoke, lacks smoke in my opinion.
