Inspired by the Shipping Forecast A West Coast IPA with big bitterness and hop aroma. Remarkably easy drinking for its strength, this beer contains more hops than is strictly sensible! Brewed with Maris Otter and Citra, Chinook and Simcoe hops.

Botella 33cl. Color marrón oscuro. Ligera espuma y carbonatado suave.

On tap at La Més Petita, Barcelona. Quite clear amber. Potent piney hop nose, very bitter in the mouth. Makes a statement.

x ml sample, thanks veliemboys. Pours a hazy orange copper colour with a small head. Aroma of fresh citrusy hops, something earthy and biscuit. Flavour is rather strong on bitterness, wet earth, mild caramel notes and harsh graininess. Medium bodied, a bit harsh mouthfeel and low-ish carbonation. Nice bitterness. Reminds me of The Kernel’s IPAs.

33 cl bottle @ olio. Batch #0001, BBE 14.06.2014
Aroma has fruity hops, some biscuits, caramel and peaches. Flavour is fruity and hoppy with aggressive hops, peaches and some mineral tones. Finishes with long, long lingering hops. Feels a bit like some beers with low ABV and high IBU.

330ml bottle from Rosses i Torrades, Barcelona

Batch 0001, BBE 14 Jun 2014 - Pours dark orange with a smooth white head. Aroma of fresh zesty hops, citrus, grapefruit, exotic fruits and grass. Taste is smooth, wet hoppy and malty with some caramel, citrus and grass. Finish is malty, lingering bitter and hoppy with some exotic fruits, stuffy caramely maltiness and biscuity notes. Quite good.

Reddish amber color & cloudy appearance. White froth creates a close, thin & lasting crown. Some spots are left. Crystal & mild toasted malt aromas, hints of green wood, underlying resins & grapefruit with very subtle cheese hues. Sweet toasted maltiness & biscuit at first sip. Light to medium body. Moderate carbonation. Dense to slightly watery texture. Resinous & sharp flavors in the middle where fruity & sweet notes are overwhelmed by bitterness. Long finish. Peppery & herbal aftertaste. Well balanced, voluptuous & refreshing brewing. A thirst quenching one!!
