Inspired by the Shipping Forecast A West Coast IPA with big bitterness and hop aroma. Remarkably easy drinking for its strength, this beer contains more hops than is strictly sensible! Brewed with Maris Otter and Citra, Chinook and Simcoe hops.

Keg at the York Tap. Pours hazy pale gold with a thin white head. Aromas of lime, lemon, fresh sweat. Taste is more of the same. Bitter finish. Nice, if a bit one-dimensional.

Keg at Craft Beer Rising. A clear golden colour with a fizzy white head. Aroma is sweet of citrusy apricot, pineapple, orange, mango and a little caramel. Taste again is citrusy and hoppy of pineapple, orange, mango, grapefruit and some caramel malt. Light bodied and a soft carbonation. A pleasant citrusy hop bitterness in the finish. Citrusy, hoppy and a lovely summer beer.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits, hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of over ripe fruits, hops, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.
