Clear golden with a medium off white head. Aroma had hops, pine and malty notes. Flavour had loads of hops, pine and lemons. Finished dry and bitter.

Sampled on 5/22/2009. This IPA pours a medium orange gold color from a 22oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is citrusy and piney, with a touch of malt sweetness. A medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are grapefruity. The label says its an over the top IPA. It really more of a middle of the road IPA, but… Decent, but its kind of lost in the sea of other IPA’s out there. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Bottle from Ledger’s. No aroma. Flavor is grass, grain, wheat, yeast, mellow (Belgian?) hop character. Very calming in its mineral water quality. Reminds me of a Colorado beer.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 nickd717 (3305) - San Francisco, California, USA - JUN 22, 2009
Bottle from the brewery. I’m surprised at the low ratings because I didn’t find this one to be all that bad. Nice clear orangish color with an off-white head. Sweet aroma with some citrusy hops. Flavor is sweet pale/caramel malt with citrusy (mostly orangish) hops. Fairly standard palate for the style. Drinkable and not bad at all.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 iowaherkeye (2504) - Ocean Beach, San Diego, California, USA - MAY 15, 2009
22oz bottle, no date--$2.99 @ Bottle Barn. ABV states 7.0%. Clear orange with a one finger creamy yellowish white head, good retention. Overly sweet caramel malts with lots of fruity hops (namely orange)--but not in a good way, as it seems to get overripened and far too sweet from the malts. Flavor is not really that hoppy, and still a little too sweet, as well as some oxidation. How old is this? It can’t be that old. The finish does have some bitterness (@ a 4-5) and did turn dry. Light to moderate carbonation with a medium body. This did not please me.
2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 DTM (608) - Winters, California, USA - MAY 8, 2009
Bottle from Nugget in Vacaville, CA. Almost no hop flavor which is standard for an IPA. Sweet flavor that almost turned to a medicinal type flavor. They should stop making this one.

22 ounce bottle purchased at Nugget in Davis, CA. Aroma is grassy and lightly herbal. Slight sweetness present. Not much else in the nose. Pretty boring aroma for an IPA. Transparent golden-copper body with a pretty frothy cream-colored head. What the fuck is this? Light citrus to start, before it becomes very cardboard-like with band aids and a whole host of other flavors that don’t taste like IPA. Once I get past all of that, it does have a bit of an herbal, lightly bitter, hopped finish. This is pretty flawed.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 marcus (4050) - Sacramento, California, USA - MAR 26, 2009
This clear amber ale poured with a fluffy off-white head and a citrus aroma. It is rather sweet for an IPA with a bitter finish.

Draft at the WCBF 08. Provided by Chau Tien. Strong hoppy aroma. Amber color with off-white head. Really fruity hop over malt. Just refreshing.
