omhper (20178) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUN 6, 2010
Bottled at The Globe, Central, HongKong. Clear nut brown, small head. Fruity nose with some paper. Mid-sweet and medium bodied with clean mouthfeel and taste profile. Barely enough substance to hide the 6.5%. Fruity and a syrupy despite being relatively dry. No bitterness. Dull, lifeless and Carlsbergy.

jimhilt (2436) - Bow, New Hampshire, USA - MAY 4, 2010
Pours a three finger cream head that fades quickly to a thin layer, leaving some lace. Nice crystal clear amber color. Mystery bits in bottom of glass that may or may not be yeast. Light carbonation and medium bodied. Faint malty nose. Flavor reminds me of honey cough syrup. Far better than their Lager. $1.85 for a 330ml bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma.

Bottle 330ml.
[ Trade by Pinball ]. Clear medium amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, light caramel, toffee - butter notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20100417]

troopie (2291) - Munchen an der Willamette, Oregon, USA - APR 17, 2010
Bottle. Poured koeldrank brown with thick fast dissipating white head. Sweet caramelly aroma. Medium body a little caramel, a little grassiness. Light finish a tiny bit of bitterness. Better than the pale, but not that much better

MiP (13848) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - APR 17, 2010
Bottle, 6.5%. Clear brown colour. Small stable off-white head. The flavour is a little grainy, has a little malt. Tastes like a cheap Vienna to me.

Pwn3d (1961) - Manhattan, New York, USA - APR 13, 2010
Bottle at heng 2 Thai restaurant. Pour is medium brown, clear but def more color than I expected. Roasty nut , sweet, and malt flavor. Decent, reminds me of new castle

jb (2322) - Rochester, New York, USA - APR 1, 2010
Nose: Lots of sugars in there, some nice, some bleh, a bit of corn. The appearance is really nice, dark orange hue over dark brown. Thick head, nice lacing. Palate is malty, nutty and ultimately thin and flawed like the american dark should be. Drinkable but unspectacular.

Cybercat (3576) - Georgia, USA - MAR 5, 2010
Aroma is fruity and a bit fruit-sweet with a malty undertone. Pours a slightly hazy cinnamon- brown with a decent cream-colored head. Flavor is crisp, malty, slightly yeasty and just a little fruity with just a tiny bit of sweetness. Texture is rather smooth and fizzy, rather typical. Worth a try.

coldbrewky (1461) - Hippetown East, New York, USA - FEB 26, 2010
Bottle via the wife during her rambling travels. A mix of golden brown malts supports a off white head. Nose is weak and of mostly caramel. body has a longer duration than expected. Dry and biting finish. Main body consists of muddled malts and corn. Dark by Laotian standards I assume. Some fleeting nuttiness.
