2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
This bottled brew from a beer bar poured a very large sized head of foamy off-white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a softly carbonated transparent dark copper brown colored body. The mild aroma was malty and musty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a mellow metallic aftertaste. The thin flavor contained notes of brown malt. A decent one but not one that I would consider drinking again.

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Light brown. Very worty, a little chewy. Boring macro dark with very little flavour. A shame - regular Beer Lao is nice when fresh but this stuff holds little promise.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle @ Beerfest Asia. Fizzy head dissipates fast on a clear, light brown body. Aroma is flawed with butter and phenols. Light and fizzy palate. Some smokiness in the flavors is good. Actually it’s light but not bad to drink. Has good malt character and some floral overtones to boot.

2.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pecan, honey, aand bread nose. Clear brown, thin head. Nutty flavor, weak but good. Watery mouthfeel. Not awful and something I would drink once in awhile if it was more easily available.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Snagged a sip of this at the WBF. Pours a medium brown. Aroma slightly sweet and a bit grainy. Flavor matched. Not a lot there, but at least not offensive. Rough carbonation.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottled at The Globe, Central, HongKong. Clear nut brown, small head. Fruity nose with some paper. Mid-sweet and medium bodied with clean mouthfeel and taste profile. Barely enough substance to hide the 6.5%. Fruity and a syrupy despite being relatively dry. No bitterness. Dull, lifeless and Carlsbergy.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a three finger cream head that fades quickly to a thin layer, leaving some lace. Nice crystal clear amber color. Mystery bits in bottom of glass that may or may not be yeast. Light carbonation and medium bodied. Faint malty nose. Flavor reminds me of honey cough syrup. Far better than their Lager. $1.85 for a 330ml bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma.
