Not bad. Had a bottle. Poured a cola brown with a fizzy white head. Nose of slightly roasted malts. Very malty flavor with some nice caramel sweetness. Slightly metallic aftertaste. Pretty smooth, mildly creamy.

Bottle. Thought this was a Chinese beer until I got home and looked it up. I guess I shouldvíe looked at the bottle a little harder. Pours a clear, pale copper/brown body with a fizzy white head. This aroma was reallly bad IMO but there are some faint caramel malts, but otherwise sour and funky. Flavor isnít so bad. Semi-sweet, vegetable, malty. Slight hop finish. Thin bodied. Overall not horrible. Iím sure if I was in Laos Iíd drink many of these.

(bottle - 330 ml) Copper color with a thin off-white head. Aroma is full of caramel and nuts, with some hints of toffee and lightly toasted malts. Flavor begins with a smooth and nutty malt taste with a sweet caramel middle and a lightly crisp finish with hints of apples and malts.

Same tinge of carbonation as the regular lager. Root beer color, very slight toasty flavor, initial bitterness and no sign of any sweetness. Good watery drink to wash down spicy food but not much else.

11.2 ounce bottle. Pours caramel color, minimal head. A bit too much caramel sweetness without balancing roast or bitter hops, but still pretty good. Canít feel the relatively high ABV.

A new country for me. Clear dark brown pour with a one finger tan head. Aroma is roasted notes with Saaz hops and caramel. Flavor is quite malty and sweet with some hops in the background. Faint nut flavors. Some metal came late. Not a bad beer at all.

Pour is a dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is of sweet malts with an ever so slight touch of caramel. Flavor is some more dry grain with again a bit of caramel. Not really great but better than i expected. Iím sure this may even be better fresh half way around the world.

Bottle. Dark copper pour. Short tan head. Um, this isnít a schwarzbier. More an American Dark Lager. Iíll switch it afterward. Aroma is sweet malt and caramel. Hints of grain. Taste is caramel, sweet malts, and light cereal grains. Body is light-medium and slightly chewy with moderate carbonation. End is more caramel, sweet malts, and light cereal grains. Not too bad.
