Light brown color with an aged ivory colored head. Aromas of cocoa and dark caramel. I’m catching some sharpie scents as well. Flour glue and light alcohol flavors. Bits of toasted grain and wild honey. Lifeless fell. Not real clean and as close to glue as I’ve had since kindergarten.

pours a nice orange red color with a nice off white head. Aroma of caramel malts and candy. Flavors of caramel malts, candy and straw. Light body, but nice and refreshing taste.

Picked it up in a grocery store in Bangkok. Pours brown with a foamy white head that stays; copious lacing. Smells like standard lager. Taste is a touch carmel-like. Fairly thin, decent carbonation. Okay beer. I wouldn’t turn one down on a hot day.

Brown in the glass, thick white head. The beer starts sweetish-mild. In the mainpart there is a sweet malty note, a bit roasted and kind of sharp. The ending is medium, sweetish-malty, hints of roast and only little bit of hops.
--> for a dark lager, this beer is a bit thin - not in body, but in taste. There are even hints of the alcohol, which is at 6.5% unusual and no sign of quality… --> 10/9/7/7

Bottle @ THT February. Pours a clear amber beer with a medium sized, off white head on top. Aroma is bready, malty, sugary. Flavor is medium sweet and very malty again. No real distinguishing flavors here, just OK and another fun country tick!

bottle, brewtopia 06. more like copper coloured than dark, not much sign of a head. fizzy, had to search pretty hard for dark malt character, perhaps a touch of milk chocolate

From a twelve ounce bottle - Pours a clear brownish red. Below average carbonation, and lacing. Smells of mild malts and mild hops…maybe some rice or other adjuncts? First sip is surprisingly lighter than expected, some mild bitterness. Weak malt backbone. On a whole not very good but better than their lager

Bottle from Case and Keg. Brown pour very thin white head. Aroma is malty, sweet, honey and grain. Flavor is overly malty and too sweet. slight bitter finish, but not much. Meh.

Bottle. Thought this was a Chinese beer until I got home and looked it up. I guess I shouldv’e looked at the bottle a little harder. Pours a clear, pale copper/brown body with a fizzy white head. This aroma was reallly bad IMO but there are some faint caramel malts, but otherwise sour and funky. Flavor isn’t so bad. Semi-sweet, vegetable, malty. Slight hop finish. Thin bodied. Overall not horrible. I’m sure if I was in Laos I’d drink many of these.
