16 oz. can. It pours a very clear light golden color with a disappearing white head. The aroma is typical rice and corn with hints of dough and sweet cider. The flavor has more clean cidery notes, corn, rice, dough and light florals in the finish. Nothing offensive here, just typical pale lager. Maybe slightly above average.

Pours a clear yellow with little head or lacing. The aroma is mostly generic cluster hops. The taste is like hop-water. It says on the bottle that it’s gluten free, although I think this sticker might have been put on it by the store I bought it from since it’s not in any pictures I’ve found on the internet. Given this, I’m guessing it’s made mostly with rice, and it tastes like such. It’s drinkable, but not anything noteworthy.

Pour moi la meilleure lager est-asiatique. Bue partout au Laos et trouvable chez Tang frères France lorsqu’ils l’importaient encore (ce qu’ils ne font plus à ce jour d’après les enseignes de Lognes et Noisiel).

UPDATED: NOV 27, 2014 330ml bottle served in a Lager glass. A: Pours a very pale yellow color. Absolutely clear. Forms a big thin bubbled white head with medium retention forming and leavings lots of small soapy lacings in the glass. S: Very malty in the nose. Strong notes of sweet pale malts, corn and grassy hops. T: Sweet pale malts in the upfront. Very crispy. Grassy hops. In overall, the taste is dry and light bitter. Standard Lager style. Hints of cardboard and a bit metallic too. Corn can also be noticed. M: Very light body. Strong but faint carbonation. Pale malts and grassy hops in the aftertaste. O: Medium to low drinkability. Standard Asian Lager with strong notes of adjunct malts, mainly corn. [ BA Review @ 6/27/2010 ]

Bottle(s). Pours a clear pale yellow color with a white head. Aroma of malt. Taste is malty (despite being brewed on rice) and a bit floral. Medium bitterness for a pale lager. A bit boring - as many lagers tend to be - but nevertheless very refreshing when drunk in the Laos heat. ;-)
