Fancy bottle @ Hemlock, Bangkok. The pour’s medium gold with the tiniest of white heads. The nose is general sweet corn syrup, some cardboard and a bit of wood. The taste has a nice accent of banana, and otherwise general sweet pale lager flavors. Quite carbonated and a bit syrupy. Overall, I actually didn’t hate this. It’s cheap, but it hits the spot.

Rough around the edges from Laos state brewery if its 90. Degrees and the only thing on offer you’ll lap it up give most people a option and they will leave Best drunk: ice cold floating down the Mekong.

33cl bottle, local Asiamarkt. Sweetish, but enjoyably clean international pale lager with some malt and even hop character: lime pie with some floral bitterness and green apple sits on a base of sweet malts with a vanilla and mais sweetness. Would put a few current EU extract-based supermarket broths to shame.

Drinking from a 33 cl bottle. A sweet aroma from the rice. The clear golden beer has a medium white head. A very soft taste, definitely from the rice. Blossom. Nice sweet lager. Low carbonated.

Bottle at The Pullman Folkestone. Pale clear gold lasting white head. Aroma of lemon infused paper. No off flavours just papery. And some lemon. Ok if dull.

330 ml bottle. Pours a clear, pale golden colour with an average, short lived, white head. Aroma of rice and malt. Sweet flavour of malt and rice with a slightly dry, hoppy, bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation.

Bottle, ďakujem Anička. Clear pale body with low white head. Aroma has hay, malty, sweet, light earthy. Taste has light yeasty sweetness, medium earthy bitterness. Eurobeer but not so bad. Palate is flat. Cereal after taste. Body is medium with higher carbonation. Refreshing.

Can from Rehills Newcastle. Nice enough for a basic lager - pretty similar in style to the likes of Singha, bit of a heavy aftertaste

Bottle. Just another lager very much alike the ususal Carlsberg lager. Refreshing in the hot Laos climate but nothing special.
