Fancy bottle @ Hemlock, Bangkok. The pour’s medium gold with the tiniest of white heads. The nose is general sweet corn syrup, some cardboard and a bit of wood. The taste has a nice accent of banana, and otherwise general sweet pale lager flavors. Quite carbonated and a bit syrupy. Overall, I actually didn’t hate this. It’s cheap, but it hits the spot.

UPDATED: JUL 16, 2016 Small bottle in Vientiane, Laos. Pours a pale golden yellow. One finger white head that lingers. Aroma of hops and rice. Some sweet citrus taste with bitter hops and yeast. Medium body. Light and refreshing on a hot day. Unremarkable with a slight bitter aftertaste.

Sweet hop/malt nose. Pours light golden with thick white foam. Crisp, active carbonation with medium body. Slight skunk that the hoppiness balances out. Another good beer for the heat and humidity.

Got it for the country tick. Aroma is hay. Taste is somewhat sweet with a spicy little finish, but it’s imbalanced on the former.

330ml bottle. Clear pale golden colour with a minimal white head disappearing immediately. Aroma is typically grainy but has some good malt character to it. Taste of typical pale malt, grainy, corn, some hops. Watery. Average. Probably better with spicy food, or on a really hot day.

A golden-coloured lager with a white head. Slight corn syrup aroma. Taste is thin and in unmemorable. Sweet, slightly syrupy taste, with a bland rice-based flavour. Little bitterness. Quite forgettable.

Bottle; pours clear gold with a white head; slightly herbal of malt and wet cardboard; taste is slightly sweet with malt and cardboard; finish has some bitterness; meh... pale lager...

Gold color and clear. Little head and no lace. Grainy corn macro aroma. Some stew to the nose. Lots of corn to the taste. I give some credit for the presence of hops thin body and elevated carbonation.
