COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle conditioned.
Saison Dupont is a classic Belgian farmhouse ale. This is a beautifully balanced, complex beer that has a refreshing fruitiness and long, dry finish. It is bottled unfiltered so it may be cloudy or have a slight sediment but this is normal and perfectly natural.

UPDATED: OCT 15, 2009 Bottle, date stamped "LO6006A" Yep, a big horsey and brett smell. Cloudy yellow, with a crisp head. Actually, I think it’s a nice clean taste to start. Light pilsner type malts. Still a pretty young bottle, I popped it now and was rewarded with some nice sharp hop notes. Initial smell drops out as it warms, leading to a bit of lemony zest. Rounded out with pear and dry wine. A bit too fizzy, but thoroughly enjoyable.

Pours cloudy gold with a white head. Aroma of spice, touch barnyard. Little bit of citrus, finishes dry.

Gold color, single finger head. Peppery aroma. Really funky taste, kind of like stinky cheese. The funk really lingers after you drink it. I’m not a huge fan.

Clear, light golden colour and thin but tight head. Aroma of fresh green hops. Nice dry, bitter flavour. It remains fresh though and a slight sweetness comes through too. Very high carbonation.
