COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A pale beer with a rounded full-bodied flavour. The aromas are grassy and herby while the flavours are herby with spicy fruits and hints of blackberry and melon. The finish is dry and has a long-lasting bitterness.

(As "Beerworks Doctor Morton’s Famous Ancient Grease"), cask handpull, Whitefriars, Coventry, 22/02/12. Always get a little buzz on when I see The Doctor on the bar. Pale gold frilled with lace; sumptuous cask condition. Blackcurrant and lychee aroma. Juicy, lingering biscuit barrel, cashew and pale toasty malt topped with satsuma, flowery and mango hop. 10min biscuit afters. Beautiful as usual- even Jimmy Nail couldn’t destroy my enjoyment of drinking it.

Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’09. Pale gold with white head. I normally love these project beers from Abbeydale under the Sheffield Beer Works title, but this was not a great example, there were some really odd flavours, i got a mushy melon flavour with crushed peppercorn and some grapejuice. Not for me.
