Cask in the market porter. Alround rating: Ginger! Pale malt, peppery fiery ginger, bit on the sweetside, lomon comes through also. Ginger, but as i always say, there could be more ginger in it.

Cask conditioned at Far from the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Pale greenish gold with white head. I’m not normally a great lover of Ginger beers, but this is extraordinary, dry and lemony with a sharp spicy heat from the ginger. lasting, then bittersweetness. Very good indeed. Drank whilst Ponting and Hussey were building their innings.

Cask Conditioned Handpump Criterion Leicester. A straw coloured beer with a loose white head. Good ginger in the nose and mouth. Clean and spicy over a good base beer with a decent body. Easy to drink even if the ginger tends to the fiery.
