Cask conditioned at The Pub, Leicester. Black with tan head. Rich and toasty flavours, smooth black coffee flavours, deep chocolate bitterness, lovely beer, just the job.

Cask, handpump at The Hunters, Kilburn, Derbyshire, 05.11.10 Pours black with a light beige head. This is a nice fruity stout with plenty of cocoa powder and the light creamy chocolate. The finish is quite dry, however its more notable for being quite rich and smooth. Like this. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Cask. The Pub, Leicester. Thin off-white head, black body. Chocolate, coffee, nuts, grassy hop undertone. Very bitter, some sweet notes. Soft mouthfeel, biter finish. An excellent stout.

Cask, The Pub, Leicester. Liquorice with ruby corners and an uneven beige collar. Fruity burnt aroma: plum and blackberry on smoking toast. First impression: cranberry and black cherry-infused 70% chocolate, toasted nuts, pinch of burnt toast. Second impression: none required.
