Cask gravity, The Flowerpot, Derby. Having googled it, I’m not sure if this is called ’Mental Polish’ or ’Metal Polish’ (mine was the latter), but I want it to be called ’Mental Polish’. Brilliant amber with no head. Citrus hop, earth, slight coffee aroma. Soily green notes, coffee granule hints, apricot, soap and marmalade. Fresh hop balanced with biscuit crumbs. No frills and lovely like most of Abbeydale’s output.

Cask. Slightly hazy pale amber with a small, lacing off-white head. Fresh fruity hop aroma. Lightbodied, flattish with a soft mouthfeel. Vague nutty touch and a whiff of lovely citrusy hops. Dry and bitter finish. 160110
