COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask & Bottle Conditioned, Regular; This is an old style traditional strong bitter which is smooth, malty & full bodied. The name is a Norfolk colloquialism meaning a bit wonky or not quite straight. Objects may appear this way after a few pints! Voted Norfolk CAMRA Best Strong Bitter 2009.

A dark, reddish brown coloured beer with a weak white head. A smoky malt nose, liquorice and woody, and a little vinous. Bitter taste and a weak mouthfeel. Again, some smoky malt flavours, liquorice and dark chocolate, with a dry, vinous finish. (Cask - The Fox & Hounds Summer Beer Festival 2007, Heacham, Norfolk).

Cask gravity at Reading BF 2007. Deep chestnut, lasting bubbly beige. Bit syrupy, good red berry fruit. Not a bad ESB. Decent hop on end.

Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Leicester BF. A light amber coloured beer. The aroma is malty and sweet with some alcohol noticeable. The taste is sweetish with some caramel. Some strange malty flavours but it works fairly well.
