Clear light to medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, caramel, nutty notes, moderate hoppy, citrus, lime, orange, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090122]

Cask at Smithfield Hotel, Manchester. A hazy dark golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of citrusy NW - hops - Willamette with underlying notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel as well as strong notes of grapefruit and lighter notes of spices from the Willamette hops.

Cask @ Smithfield Hotel, Manchester M4. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy citrus aroma wit hsome hints of caramel. Fruity malty hoppy citrus flavor. Has a fruity malty long hoppy citrus finish with some hints of caramel.
