Cask at The Three Horseshoes Norfolk, 28-04-07. Poured a warm golden colour, had quite a honeyed nose, this carried through into the taste and I felt this was rather sweeter than I’d expected, nice gentle hoppiness and bitterness in what was a very enjoyable beer.

A mid amber brown coloured beer with a weak white head. A crisp malt nose, some toffee and liquorice, plus a mild smokiness. A bitter taste, plenty of cracker-like malt, with a smooth caramel, toffee flavour, followed by a mild smoky taste that lasts to a dry, bitter finish. (Cask - The Fox & Hounds Summer Beer Festival 2007, Heacham, Norfolk).

Bottle. Grapefruit and ganja aroma. Golden with slight mist. Zesty Cascade, mandarin, grapefruit, late peanut. No-expense-spared pithy GA with a big dose of hops. How can you resist?

Bottled. Clear gold, scant head that can be continually whipped back into life. Aroma floats from sugared grapefruit to raw honeycomb. Sweetness sustained in the flavour, alongside a soft soap feel and a superb dry finish.
