3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 MrRomero (1964) - Nolanville, USA - AUG 13, 2007
400ml draft at the brewpub in Aviano, Italy. Poured golden yellow with a thick creamy white head. Hops and malt dominate the aroma. Flavor is hops and malt with some residual sweetness on the tongue followed by some corn in the finish. Mildly bitter. Decent and puts most bottled beers available around here to shame.
1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 ElDesmadre (472) - Mikołów, POLAND - APR 25, 2012
Draught at the Aviano brewpub. Straw-yellow with a small and short head. For an unfiltered beer this is suspiciously transparent. Aroma is some malt and a huge load of diacetyl. Likewise, the beer tastes like a thin grain broth in which a dump of butter had been dissolved. And thats it - butter, butter, some malt, butter. Watery, faint bitterness. A disaster.

On tap at BEFeD Mestre. Yellow color with nice white head. Aroma, malt with citrusy notes. Taste, malty, with bittersweet finish. Drinkable beer.

Lager potabile, niente di che, una produzione non sorprendentemente piuttosto sottotono e insulsa; ma almeno priva di difetti valą.

Tap at BEFeD Aviano. Bright yellow color, large white head, spiderweb lacing. Aroma of citrus and black pepper. Taste is malty but well balanced, great body. Not my style, but a quality example.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 SHIG (2702) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - FEB 14, 2009
Draught: Poured a hazy yellow with white head. The aroma was a mix of harvest and malts. Taste was nice malts, grain, and just hoppy to keep the tongue happy.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 fiulijn (10383) - Como, ITALY - JAN 20, 2008
Draught at the brewpub in Mestre Hazy blond color. Light but nice malty aroma. Medium body, light but good and crispy malt flavor. Bitter as it should be. Overall, a pleasant beer, though not daring.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Dorqui (1552) - Brescia, ITALY - DEC 19, 2005
UPDATED: SEP 16, 2007 Draught at BEFeD N.8 (Concesio-Brescia).
Creamy and compact foam, good duration. Yellow clearly color, torbid and lightly hazy. Elegant and bubbly, not the inconsistent usual lager. Fresh straw and hoppy scent. Bitter and lightly watery notes. Lively and pungent, moderate bitter taste, pleasant flowery notes, spices and ginger. Medium end. A successful experiment.
