Pours light yellow with a thick white head. Tastes wheaty and bitter. Easy to drink and one of the better kolschs out there. Had at the long room

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pale, straw colored kolsch with faint grass and citrus notes on the nose. There is a sweet, honeyed feel here that somewhat dominates the taste profile. A little too sweet for me perhaps.

On tap at the Mundelein Beer fest. Pours a bight golden color with a styrofoam colored white head. Aroma is nice, some grain, bread, and doughy malts with floral and grassy hops. Light bodied, crisp carbonation. Pretty nice Kolsch.

UPDATED: MAY 2, 2014 Draft. An excellent summer beer but for the style it is a bit weak for my expectations. Had htis again form the source and the newest batch, enjoyed it alot bumped rating.

Draft at Jerry’s. Hazy yellow with good, creamy, white head, modest lacing / Bright nose of bread dough and citrus / Light to medium body, creamy and resinous, soft carbonation, excellent balance with good fruit paired with fine hopping, with moderately bitter finish / Elegant flavors of lemon, pear, biscuit, straw / I could drink this all summer.
