On tap at the brewery. Pours an almost clear orange amber with a thin white head. Soft floral notes with citrus and honeyed malt on the nose, cool and catty. Medium bodied, tropical fruit, papaya, mango, soft malt and citrus. Slow spicy finish with a lot of earthy hops and a hint of resinous hop juice.

Bottle at home. Aroma is floral hops, apple, brown sugar. A fairly typical APA, heavy sweet malt underneath, nice and bitter up front. Smooth, wheatty palate, not much hint of wheat other than that. Fruity hoppy finish with noticeable alcohol.

Single bottle from Binny’s, bought Jan 14. Big spongy, lacy head puffs up over a golden beer with just a few bubbles. Light, pleasant hop dominates the nose. Taste is a basic pale ale with American bittering hops. Malt is slightly thick, enough to coat the lips. I try to pick up the wheat malt, but the hops are enough to knock it out. This is one of Begyle’s more accessible beers, though, available in multi-pack 12 oz. bottles.

This one pours a dark straw color with a long lasting slightly beige head from the bottle. Malt is smooth with a bread/cereal combo thing going on, followed by a clean floral hop finish. No indication of the 7% ABV hiding within. Easily sessionable.

Purchased at Bottles and Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at home on a cold, rainy, dreary late December evening after having to get my car out of the repair shop. Appearance is a cloudy gold with a moderate white head. Aroma doesn’t have much going on, light yeast and wheat. Taste is nice, dryish finish, unexpected bitterness for the style, overall it’s pretty good.

12oz bottle. Hoppy wheat/ White IPA. Orange body, foamy white head. Big brewhouse malt aroma, almost has what I would consider an Imperial Pils feel in that regard. Rather unique, sort of occupying the odd realm between White IPA and Imperial Pils. Interesting flavor profile, but a little bit of a boozy, malt liquor feel too...doesn’t incorporate/hide the alcohol well. Soapy orange hop tones. OKish. Anndiesel noted that there is a hint of rye.

Bottle from Binny’s in Schaumburg, IL. Clear orange-golden pour with a small soapy white head. Really nice aroma - kind of that sweet, slightly fruity Bubblicious bubble gum aroma, but not overly so, plus some husky wheat. Hint of yeast. Lighter palate but not thin. Decent carbonation. Fairly sweet on the taste, and a bit drying on the tongue late.
