3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This does not stand out above the rest. It really doesn't even blend in... A little hop aroma but doesn't go anywhere...kind of reminds me of spitfuls instigator ipa... Both these new Chicago breweries have oobs of potential but need to put out more thoughtful products and lower there price point as they can not at this time compete with what many others are doing..got to give me something with this ipa.... Just eeeh.... I can't wait til they improve and I bet they will...

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear golden pour with a single finger head. Lots of lace. Aroma is fairly light, having trouble picking up on much. A little citrus and orange pith. Medium bodied. Slightly astringent. Lots of hops in this one. Lemon comes to mind. A bit of grain in the taste with a lingering bitterness.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from the bottle of a six pack, dark amber orange with lacing. Taste is sweet malt, pine, a nice gritty creamy combo, dry at the end, and good alcohol content. This is the second six I have bought of this beer and I really like it.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Ever so slightly murky dark golden color with almost no head. Aroma is citrus hops and some earthiness. Taste is sweet, bready malt at first, then mild citrus rind hops with some pine, pineapple, and then it turns grassy. Some peppery spice as well. Palate is heavier than most IPAs, almost to DIPA territory. Very drinkable and fairly unique.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from a 22oz bottle from Kaser dated 02/25/15 - thanks again!
Aroma - Some faint aroma...almost like red licorice.
Appearance - hazy orange in color. Small 1/2 finger of head that disappears quickly.
Taste - Very smooth...nice malt backbone...missing some hoppiness for an IPA.
Overall - Glad I had it fresh, I think it wouldn’t taste the same if it were old.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Taster. Pours a clear golden color with a white head. Interesting woody herb aromas. Lots of pine and grapefruit peel. Bready malt, some orange, and a slight peach ester. Flavor is a touch sweet up front with some bread and caramel. Nice piney bitterness. Strong herbal character as well as a long of citrus peel. Not bad.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the brewery as part of the house tour for our club. (UKG) Dispensed to a logoed pint glass, showing a clear & bright, deep, orangey gold color, with a presentable & fairly lasting head of off white/light tan froth, and good cling to the spots & strands of lacing. The nose started with subtle dankness, then citrus as grapefruit & orange, and considerable malt sweetness. Better than medium bodied, with decent carbonation, the taste presented a hop bitterness that was moderately strong, lingering, citrusy, earthy, and rind-like, with caramelly malt sweetness that almost overwhelmed the hop, leaving a flavorful but somewhat under attenuated impression, imo.
