UPDATED: SEP 8, 2008 Tap@Brewpub, Sep 08, 3.0: Hoppy citrus aroma with some malts. Cloudy, dull yellow color, beige fine head, good lace. Light sweet, light malty, bitter, citrus, bit metallic in the finish. Flat mouthfeel. Ok but boring. Bottle@Home, Dec 05, 2.8: Herbal start but later mainly citrus. Cloudy, dark yellow color, off-white head, very nice lace. Sour lemon start but this gets easier, after that still citrus, herbal, light hoppy bitterness, malty sweetness underneath. Was bottled just 3 weeks before but an infection was clearly there already. Should re-rate it on tap some day.

Sweet with light sour, and a banana aroma. The beer is hazy, with a soft texture. A good beer.

On tap at De Beiaard Café, Amsterdam, Netherlands 29.09.11 on a truly gorgeous, wonderfully warm sunny day. Pours light gold, good clarity and much better looking than the Manke Monnik, the first part of that name perfectly summing up the look of that beer btw. Soft in the mouth with a slight dare I suggest pilsner type bite to it at first which surprised me, however some yeast and a little spice soon suggest that this is more in the style of a Belgian and not a lager A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Dorqui (1552) - Brescia, ITALY - SEP 27, 2011
Draught at "De Beiaard" - Amstedam.
Deep yellow/orange color, little hazy with a beautifull creamy head and bubbly aspect. Round and complex nose, with notes of banana, stum, yeast, cellar. Crisp and solid body, elevated alcoholic perception, moderate bitter final.

On tap at De Bekeerde Suster, Amsterdam on 31 March 2011. Hazy pale gold colour . Aroma is a bit petrolly. Yeasty with some cream soda accents. A little boiled vegetable. Not that much flavour. Sweetish, thin and a little watery on the palate. Not very clean. Didn’t seem too fresh to me. Not very impressed. Flagged for re-rate.
