Medium to dark copper with a thin, lasting, lacy, sticky, frothy, off white head. Smells of coriander, citrus, honey, grapefruit and toasted malt. Medium oily body with soft carbonation. Tastes of toasted and sweet caramel malt, alcohol and a dry hop finish. Very nice balance but a little too boozy.

Aranysárga, kissé ködös a tetején pedig hófehér, krémes, fehér hab csücsül kitartóan. Rendkívül malátás illata van, amibe fűszerek is keverednek. A maláta dominál az ízében is, aztán élesztő, fűszerek, citrusok és kandiscukor. Utóíze lágy, keserédes. Hiába erősebb az alkohol tartalma, akkor is nagyon lágy és kellemes itóka.

Pours a cloudy golden color with a white head. Sweet sugar and fruits on the nose. Banana, pear, and apple notes along with a subtle coriander spiciness. Some nice sweet fruit flavors of banana, pear, and apple. Moderate spice flavor and a bit of yeast. Some sugar sweetness, a touch of pale malt as well.

Draught @ de Bekeerde Suster. Light amber coloured. Dense beige head. Aroma: Fruits, sweetness, spice, light yeast. Flavour. Citrus, yeast, fruits, spice, vaguely sweet. Medium bodiede. Ends fruity.

UPDATED: FEB 7, 2013 Tap @ Beiaard, Dam, Amsterdam 09/09/12 Pours a hazy golden yellow with a white, billowy head. Aroma is yeast and spiciness, a bit sour. Taste begins somewhat sweet with banana and lemon, turns yeast and spiciness, pepper, light coriander. Light malts, spiciness in the aftetaste. Palate is light, smooth, refreshing. Fit in great with their Catalan fish stew.

On tap @ De Beiaard, Amsterdam. Pours golden, with a nice, thick head. Aroma is a nice fruitiness, with notes of Belgian yeast. Medium body, with little carbonation. Flavour is fruits, some yeast and notes of oak.

Nice smooth beer. Spice, mostly cloves, some iron in the end. Prickly finish, nice. At the Bekeerde Suster.

Hazy, bright yellow color, steady creamy white head, lace. Clove, bubblegum, spices in the nose. Medium-bodied. Fruity, spicey, leathery, some coriander and other disturbing yeasty spiceyness. All 3 Beiaard beers were very similar, this one was perhaps the worst of them.

Draft @ the Beiaard. Very average tripel, nothing exciting. Looks like a regular tripel, smells like a regular tripel and tastes like a regular tripel. Nothing wrong with that, nothing good about it eiter. Did gave it a .1 extra because it went great with my food... but a bacon cheese burger with a tripel is always good.
