UPDATED: MAY 5, 2005 Had this one with caesar. Cloudy yellow coloured, fair head. Wheat, coriander and banana, very nice white.

Hazy yellow color, good creamy white head. Coriander and banana in the nose. Medium-bodied, although palate is a bit watery. Semi-sweet banana and coriander in the flavor. Refreshing, nice witbier.

On draught at de Beiaard. Pours a dense dull straw color with a frothy white head. Phenolic aroma and flavor. Light body with big wheaty flavor. Slightly cirtusy note . OKAY.

Hard to tell what color it is in this gloom, but it appears to be a light yellow, almost lemonade. Aroma has a wheat and citrus glow, but the body is underwhelming. Taste falls flat compared to other, better beer of the same style. Tried at the Beiaard cafe in Hoorn, October 18, 2011

Draught at "De Beiaard" - Amstedam.
Clear orange/yellow color, hazy, creamy head, medium bubbly aspect, very lively. Fresh and little sour nose, notes of lemon, cider, orange peel, stum and cellar. Fresh, little acidulous, fizzy and long pleasant final.

Draught at De Beiaard. Hazy yellow coloured with a medium sized white head. Frutiy aroma of citrus, spices and wheat. Sweet and fruity flavour of citrus and spices. Sweet finish.

On tap at De Bekeerde, Amsterdam on 31 March 2011. Very pale straw colour - looked a little like lemon barley water. Fluffy white head. Quite spicy. Some cloves on the nose. A touch lemony. Nothing great but OK. I thought this was actually the best of the three beers brewed on the premises when I visited - can’t say I was all that impressed with the place.

Citrus, orange, peach and spices. Very nice to drink on hot days on the marie heinekenplein.

On tap at De Bekeerde Suster, Amsterdam. Cloudy pale gold beer with a good white head. Light dry palate with a carbonated bite. A little chalk and bitter lemon. Some yeasty malt and a pinch of caraway. Finishes crisp. Fresh and drinkable.

UPDATED: OCT 12, 2010 [9/25/10] Draught at the brewpub in Amsterdam. Cloudy pale yellow with a big white head. Aroma of wheat, fruit esters, citrus and bubblegum. Sweetish wheaty flavor, a bit spicy, with light citric tartness. Medium-bodied. Refreshing.
