1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 rosenbergh (3486) - Helsinki, - NOV 15, 2009
UPDATED: NOV 19, 2009 5 000 ml keg. As Beierhaascht Hell. From Foetz, Luxembourg.
Hazy pale golden colour with huge white head. Aroma is sour citric, almost acidic. Flavour is also very sour with citrus. Hints of malt too. It’s not past BB date but it’s like gone slightly bad. Not very good one.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 BlackHaddock (1709) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - APR 7, 2012
Draught pint taken in the British owned ‘Fu-Bar’ in Luxembourg City on 1st Jan 2012, my first beer of the year!
The beer was hazy; it is unfiltered, the colour being a light straw blonde. The head was a thin covering of smell white bubbles that hung around for a while before retreating into a collar and wisp.
The smells were of yeast and citrusy hops, the beer being poured so cold there was no aroma until I was half way down the pint.
The cold pour also ensured the flavours were masked until the beer began to rise in temperature a little: The citrus nose came through into the taste, as did the yeastiness, the beer was fresh, so I think I got it at its best. Light in colour, light in body, but lively enough because of its freshness, I enjoyed it. Refreshing and thirst quenching; not for the cold weather though, which is when I had it.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 BeerandBlues2 (6096) - Lone Tree, Colorado, USA - MAR 3, 2012
Tap at brewpub. Pours hazy yellow with a medium, fizzy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is grain and meal malt, corn and a clean lager character. Flavor is malt with light spicy hops and a dry finish. Light body and warmth with medium carbonation.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Koelschtrinker (7037) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 2, 2011
Interessant! Danke an Grima! 10/7/8/7/8/8
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Grima (1572) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - DEC 21, 2010
500ml swing-top bottle, directly from the brewery!
Cause the beer is unfiltered, it holds only about 4 weeks. The beer in glass is yellow pineapple, very cloudy, with a very shallow crown. The aroma is hoppy sour, slightly sweet and slightly yeasty. Starts very yeasty-made sour, the sour aftertaste is again a trace. It tastes wonderfully fresh and natural. Is probably not to everyone’s taste because of the extremely sourish taste, but it hits completely kind of taste!
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Bierkrug (1666) - Idar-Oberstein (In East Africa), Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - DEC 10, 2010
250 ml bottle in Germany, thanks to shrubber85. Pours a light clear yellow gold. Aroma is of sour grapes and bread. Taste is peppy and zippy almost like a Radler. Has a lot od citrus taste in it. Palate is a weak citrus and hoppy. This is more of a Saison than a Helles.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 McWorta (71) - LUXEMBOURG - MAR 20, 2010
Yellow hazy colour. Citrus and straw hop aromas. Rather bitter and lightly sour. But all in all refreshing. Light watery body and thin, average texture.
Finish is a bit slick and vanishing.
