The sample I had was draught at the brewery. A slight aroman of burnt malt and very mikd hopping. A lasting fairly dense cream coloured head, dropping after about 3/4 of this medium to heavy bodied beer had been consumed. Colour, clear and reasonably dark brown. Flavour initially slightly of chocolate followed by an assault of crystal/Chocolate malt flavour subsiding to a burnt malt flavour - no unusual flavours, just a pure malt beer. Unusually little in the way of hop flavour, but was served in a 0,5l Weißbier glass, and I’m guessing it would be better served in a normal german handled beer glass - AKA Klench in Luxembourg.

Some notes of bee-wax in the aroma. Sweet and dry. Hints of crayons and spices. Dusty and dry flavour with notes of spices and dirt. Slightly alcoholic with some ginger in the aftertaste.

An unclear amber beer with no head. The aroma is of caramel and malt and so is the flavor which is very sweet.

Bottled: Dark amber coloured. Ligth beige quickly diminishing head. Fruity and malty aroma. Sweetish flavour with accents of apple. Not much going on in the aftertaste. Might be The 3F Alpha Klaus I had just before.

Very dark chestnut; grey-brown head, gone in seconds. Acidity, wheat, taint of sewage water, again the meaty/aspic smell I found in the Meeschter. Some spices. Dark, roasted malts taste, as from the dark barley grains used in French Noirs. Pipe ash flavour. Light-bodied, but not thinnish in texture. I still suspect wheat. Quite nice beer, actually, in a lighter style. I've put up "Dunkel" tentatively, but I've sent mails for confirmation.
