Aroma of fruits. Berries, cherry, plum, etc. Than some chocolate/roasted malt/coffee/toast. A bit like syrup. Sugar, liquor. Nice brew.

Bottled 330ml. -from Sörspecialista.hu, Budapest. Black coloured, small to medium sized brown head, chocolate and hint of marzipan in the nose. Light roasted malt, mild coffee and sweet fruity (plums mainly) taste with notes of marzipan and alcohol. Maybe a bit too fruity but otherwise nice brew.

Illata fanyar és enyhén gyümölcsös!Színe mélybarna,mérsékelt habbal.Íze gyümölcsösen karamelles, inkább a meggyre hajaz.Fűszeres de valahogy az utóíze avasossá válik!Egy misét megér!!!;-)

Kávés szín, nagyon halvány hab. Propoliszos, aszalt fügés, konyakos, étcsokoládés illat, enyhe pörkölt füstösséggel. Édeskés, savanykás, meggylikőrös íz, füstős végződéssel. Hosszú, földes utóíz, mandulás, meggyes lecsengéssel.

almost black colour, minimal to practically no brownish head; aroma of coffee and dried fruits (cherry and plum); taste of coffee, roasted malt, sour cherry (that’s OK so far) and...sugar...LOTS OF UNBALLANCED SUGAR, which almost totally destroys the harmony of taste; it was a huge mistake to add dextrose (or at least, too much dextrose) to it!

33cl bottle. It is a better version of Fekete Korsó. More types of yeastes do magic with the beer. ’Cherry queen’ smell and taste with some bitter and caramel aroma, a bit of alcohol(?) made liquorice feeling. Beige foam crown the beer to the last gulp. Body is medium as i like.

Túlságosan gejl, ídes, cukros, ó meggyszirup. Vállalhatatlan és ihatatlan. Nem jó.

ö.33 l bottle bought at the 4thFőzdefeszt, consumed 4 days later. Starts with small light brown head, rather quickly vanishing. Nice smell, a bit of sour cherry of the "konyakmeggy" type. Taste is not bad, again sour cherry and caramel and liquorice, but in a very mild, nice mixture. Not much carbonation, which is a good point for me. It is definitely on the sweet side, a dessert beer, if you like, which is not a good point for me: makes it unbalanced for me. There is clear relation to other Békésszentandrási dark beers, but milder and more harmonic than Black Rose and a bit more interesting than Fekete Korsó.

Third and last Hungarian bottle from Főzdefeszt.Almost black color wit small beige head. Cherries, plums, vanilla, wood and earthy notes in Aroma. Taste, fermented cherries and plums, roasted malt, coffee, vanilla, caramel, wood. Nice bitternes in dry finish. Medium bodied beer. Interesting, good.
