Bottled. Pours a nearly non-transpararent black with a two-finger thick dark brown head on its top. Cherry fruity nose and aroma with brown sugar underpainted gently by alcohol and hops. Slick mouthfeel. Tart and warming finish with mild roasted malts and spices. Enjoyable.

Dark brown with no head to speak of. Strong blackberry aroma. Taste is a lot of berries, with the blackberry being the most prominent. A bit sweet. Warming booze.

Acquired from their Békésszentandrás’ kocsma in a .33L bottle which was dated almost 6 months before it’s suggested expiration date. The beer pours thick without a head and has a strong caramel-fruit syrup aroma. It smells and tastes much like the childhood cherry-flavoured medicinal syrup and it lingers on the palate. I’m of two minds on this beer. If I would have brewed it myself I would be proud as it has a professional profile, but I would have never served it to my friends as it would be too embarrassing to pour them this sweet syrupy brew. I think that this would be a good beer for Houston hip-hoppers who want something to extend their Purple Drank. Worth a try once, in a very small glass.
