3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
(Bottle 25 cl) Pale golden with a rather pretty head. Not only a rather strong pilsener but also one of the more refined with an almost perfumy palate. Everything kept in balance by a good hop-bite. 200997

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottled. Pale yellow colour. Lively carbonation and a medium to small head. Hoppy aroma, but also some undertones not unlike corn and a bit of sweetness. Mild, or rather bland taste. A bit of hoppiness , a slight sweetness and a only lightly dry finish. A bit thinbodied. This is very akin to the Gold beers, which are currently, and rather unfortunately, a trend in Germany, but compared to those, it would be definitely not the worst.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
The colour is pale yellow with a tint of gold. The white loose white foam dissolves quite fast.
The smell is rather weak; some hits of fresh hops are present.
The taste is mild with a light body from the pilsner malt. There is a growing bitterness that disappears surprisingly fast for the place of a dry finish.
An average pils. Very average..

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from All Bar One, Birmingham, as part of their ’Beer Boutique’ promotion. Light, slightly floral, sweetish Pils. Tasty and very quaffable, this succeeds because of it’s lightness of touch and fragrant refreshing qualities.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: MAY 12, 2008 Bottled. A yellow beer with a small white head. The aroma is sweet malty and so is the flavor. For me the flavor is too sweet - it’s almost sticky in the mouth. [4/3/4/3/7=2.1]
Updated on draft as Belgo Pils made for Belgobaren, at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007. A golden beer with a thick orangey head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malty and hops as well as hints of hay. The flavor is sweet with a hoppy note, leading to a dry hay finish.
