3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the Barrel Republic.
Appearance: Opaque black-brown with a durable tan head that leaves patterned, sticky lacing.
Aroma: Dark roasted malts with coffee and dark chocolate. Some complexity.
Flavor: Moderately rich. A bit too sweet but otherwise quite good, and some bitterness (and faint smoke) kick in for the aftertaste.
Feel: Medium+ body with good light carbonation.
O: True to style, albeit with a touch of smoke, and worth trying.

Shared with Zach, pours a dark black color with a java colored head. Nose is sweet mocha and deep vanilla malt. Taste is sweet, with a mocha coffee flavor. Very drinkable, ends on the same sweet flavors with some mild lingering. This one will sweeten you up for sure. Quaff Score 7 / 10

Bomber. Pours black with a brown head and sweet chocolate and roasted malt aroma. Taste is sweet as well, creamy with lots of chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, and some vanilla leading to a sweet, roasty finish. Very drinkable stout

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
As far as milk stouts go, this one falls flat... However, it ironically is very carbonated for a milk stout. It might be a good intro into stouts, but nothing further than that. Watery

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tastes of burnt peanuts and frothy milk. The body is hearty and rich without seeming too heavy or syrupy. This stout would be a perfect canvas for a beer float.

Well this is the first time I got a batch of a beer. The bottle I had wasn’t sweet at all it was like a bowl bitter milk. I have had the peanutbutter and it was very good. Might have to try another bottle to see how it really is.

P: Black with a two finger light brown head. S: Roasted malt, lactose, chocolate and I don’t get much else but it is a very welcoming smell. T: Roasted malts, some cream, honey, sugar, light smoke and bitter coffee. M: Light and creamy with some bitterness. O: Don’t really care for milk stouts and this is no exception but got to admits this is enjoyable.
