Our Dammed Double IPA has more hops than logs in a dam! Yet, you would never know it. This beer carries all of the spicy and earthy complexity that hops offers without the harsh bitterness. With a clean finish, this beer is proof that God loves you, and He wants you to be happy.

Bottle. Pine, source, grapefruit etc. Pours dark and hazy. Lacks a decent finish. This is a hott mess, just not balanced. Also strong maltiness, I would prefer the hops in my DIPA.

Has the heart, but lacks the strategy and craftsmanship of better IPAs. The hops don’t know what to do with themselves and the bitterness feels aimless. The nose is indicative of all of the aforementioned descriptions.

Bottle with thanks to Roy! Pours deep reddish amber with a large creamy puffy beige head that lasts a long long time and laces well. Aroma is not strong, spruce, pine, passionfruit, wet leaves. Flavor is light plus sweet and medium bitter, earthy, fruity, a bit dank, wet leaves, spruce tips. Full bodied and oily with lingering bitterness. Pretty nice effort, actually.

Really oily...I have had better...just not my real style of XXIPA...I would like it dryer more hop aroma not so much just the solvent oil hop aroma...may be more grassy aroma hops. Still better than any macro crap. I’d still drink it...jus not my fav XXIPA

Keg at the Commons Ale House, Santa Monica, 16/04/14. Lightly obscured golden amber with a moderate off white/light beige covering. Nose is bitter grapefruit, good slather of pine, light dank tones to the well presented hoppage, pithy orange, tangerine. Taste comprises big pine bite, bitter orange, spice, light sprucey wood shavings, mandarin, suggestion of booz, bitter grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness in the close. Solid DIPA.

650 ml bottle from sprouts. Pours a clear copper color with a small white head that soon recedes to a fine film. The aroma is strong with pine, a bit of grapefruit and some barley. The taste is bitter hops forward with a sweet undertone; like the nose, I get pine, resins, grapefruit and a very pronounced sweet caramel malt base. The palate is full and smooth with lively carbonation. Finishes medium in duration with some lingering pine. Overall: Decent hop bill if you like piney hops, but the malt base was not to my liking.

Bomber from Bev4Less. Pours nice light amber hue, with just some hints of russet. Foam is thin, off-white, and lacy on the sides of the glass. Aromas a cirtus, resin, and grapefruit and biscuit. Taste is the same up front, but the mid-to-late palate is really lacking. The finish comes on again with some legit bitterness, but I think they added too much sugar to this in order to get the dryness and ABV... and it kind of got overdone... something is really lacking past the front end hop profile. And, for what they’re charging, they ought to get their shit straightened out...

Bottle with Clocks, Andy, PEarl, Max, Paul and zdk. Pours a light amber golden body with light haze and white lacing. Aroma is great - dank herb, funky melon and passionfruit. Great, in fact, a touch reminiscent of Alpine Nelson/Duet. Mouthfeel is grainy with some alcohol and a caramel bite. The funky melon and pine resin come through as well, but not as pleasing as the nose suggests. The flavor really falls short here.
