COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named after California’s Highway 78, this India Pale Ale was brewed in commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the city of Vista. With plenty of Galaxy, Falconer’s Flight, Southern Cross and just a tad bit of Nelson hops, our latest IPA is truly sessionable. Aroma’s include grapefruit, passionfruit, and citrus.

Pours a vibrant yellow color with a cittus and hops aroma. Lots of citrus and grapefruit flavor. A good minor bitter typical IPA flavor. The bitterness disappears quickly leaving a clean water film on the palate.

Pours very slightly cloudy straw with lots of foamy head and lots of lacing. Nose is pine and maybe some garlic. Flavours are pine, grapefruit, some garlic some five-alive. Taste medium bitter light sweet. Body is a bit on the light side with lively carbonation. Nice beer.

22 oz. bottle from Perry’s. It pours a golden color with a lasting off white head. The aroma is a bit spicy and piney at first sniff, but more tropical mango, passionfruit and grapefruit comes out as it warms. The flavor is the same. Lots of passionfruit, grapefruit and spice and pine in the finish. Solid malt backbone is more toasted than caramel. Overall, a very solid IPA with lots of nice hop complexity. A touch too malty for me.

Amber in color, clear with a thin head. Super IPA flavor and finish. Very nice IPA. I was impressed.

Pours a hazy golden orange with a two finger white head which fades to nice lacing. Aroma is of citrus (grapefruit and orange), tropical fruits (pineapple, mango, and passion fruit), light dankness, white grapes, sweet malts, and some dry caramel malt. Taste is citrus (grapefruit and orange), tropical fruits (passion fruit and pineapple), white grapes, sweet malts, and some light caramel. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a semi-moderately bitter, semi dry, medium-long, refreshing finish. Overall, a tasty, refreshing, and drinkable IPA which in pretty impressive considering the over 7 % abv.

Dank hops and a whole lotta citrus. Orange, grapefruit, pineapple. A classic West Coast (San Diego) style IPA to me. Less pine and more citrus than some of its brethren.
