Pint at ale house la jolla. Strange one. A grower. Peanut butter and coffee flavours. Pretty distinctive. Improves the more you drink.

Dark brown pour. The peanut butter taste is up front and just like a peanut butter cup, the roasted malts come through at the end. Don’t think I could handle a full pint , good one to share

Draught at the taproom in Vista, California. Black beer with a small head. My peanut butter aroma, caramel, fruity, candy notes. Peanut butter flavor, caramel, raisins, figs, hazelnuts, candy, sweet licorice. Interesting but too sweet.

Pours black with a large foamy brown head. Very odd smell. Definitely some peanut and chocolate, but something else very strong on the pour that I can't place. Tastes of peanut, chocolate, and burnt malt. Not bad for a gimmick beer.

I mean, yea, it tastes like peanut butter and chocolate so how could it be anything but good? The PB really overpowers any possible complexity but fuck it. Peanut butter. Medium full body. Good brew.

I guess I am just not that big of a peanut beer fan. And I really like peanut butter. Decent stout with a body, caramel, some roasted penuts, chocolate. Rather mild.

This is perfect for those of you that like your beer to tastes like vomit. Peanut butter just isn’t coming through here, and it’s more dry stale peanuts than sweet rich creamy peanut butter. Just not my bag.

Ours dark with tan lacey head. Good milk stout that seems a bit more bitter than expected. I was expecting big peanut butter flavor but it is fairly subtle. I would love this with about double the peanut butter! Then again, I am a huge peanut butter fan.

Refrigerated 12 oz. aluminum can poured into a glass. Black with small beige head. Aroma is medium body, medium carbonation, and pretty small-bubble lacing. Taste is coffee, lactose, dark malt, peanut butter, and some milk chocolate. A little artificial.

Very sweet nose, with peanut butter and Carmel hints. Deep dark color with very little light penatration, low head with very low head retention. Good stout flavor with hints of Carmel and peanut butter, very sweet with a bitter after taste. Smooth mouth feel, with a bit more carbonation than you’d expect from a beer this dark and heavy. I got this beer out of curiosity, and was very pleasantly surprised, I would happily have it again.
