3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Robby, thanks slim. Smells exactly like reeses peanut butter cups. Enticing. Nice red tones to the appearance. First sip, really like it. A bit sweeter than I generally like. The carbonation is a positive. Cream soda? Bottle caps candy? There is an artificial candy flavor which is really interesting but maybe not ideal. Either way, everyone present is interested in talking about this and it creates strong opinions. That is cool.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I have been waiting for a bit to try this, so Iím excited to pull this free, to let it sit while I take its photo for posterity, and to let it warm just a bit from the fridge.
At the crack of the cap, the aroma explodes from the bottle and I feel as though Iíve gone through dinner, and dessert just found itís way through a warm oven and into my senses. I pour into a stout glass, and not the pint that they suggest. (I just canít make myself do it!) The liquid is a creamy, deep ruby-amber, the cappuccino-hued head on the surface is soft, dense and thick. It looks like a head that wants to stay...Iíll touch on it again towards the end.
Chocolate is a massive foundation with a heavy vanilla accent, not nearly the peanut-buttery experience I expected, but definitely nutty. The feel of this on my tongue is also not the oatmeal smooth I had hoped for, but more fizzy, buzzing the insides of my lips. I wanted cream, I got soda, but the body is richer than most of the milk stouts that Iíve enjoyed, and that makes up for it. That head is still as plump as, well - anyway...no signs of the fluid below the surface until I tip the glass.
The taste is sweet...oh milky sweet, but with a slightly bitter afterward, making this quite pleasant to have from start to finish. I donít ever want a beer to leave me with just sweetness flooding my experience. I want more from my brews than just one flat note and no harmonies. This does a damn fine job.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle shared at Pigs Ear 2014 - London. Pours dark brown with a frothy beige head. Lovely nose of vanilla ice cream and Reeseís Peanut Butter Cups. Light to medium sweet flavor with nice roast, burnt peanut casings and chocolate. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. OK balance on the finish with light earthy bitterness, toasted bread, more peanut butter cups. Quite nice!

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Really enjoyed this one...hyper aggressive peanut butter nose. Like taking a whiff of a jar of Jiffy. Flavor is a little more subtle but get lots of salted peanuts, cocoa, brown sugar, and a hint of coffee. Yum!

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Black pour with a single finger head. Big time aroma of peanut butter and chocolate. Lace present. Medium mouth. Taste is full on peanut butter and chocolate. Sweet, yet slightly bitter finish. Really easy drinking. Much like drinking a Peanut Butter cup. Chewy.

3.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
I really liked the nose, it has a good fresh peanut butter smell. The taste however, just does not live up to the foreshadowing created in the aroma. Lastly the mouthfeel was somewhat weak and watery.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: FEB 27, 2015 22oz bomber from Craftbeerkings. Poured a thinner dark black body with a smaller off white head. Aroma/flavor of nut shell, old peanut butter, cheap chocolate, wet dark toast, sadness. Body is medium to thinner with super light flat carbonation. Meh sadly, hoped for more.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle Ales by Mail. Rich black beer, with just a trace of ruby to it. Peanut very much to the fore in the aroma department, prominent milk chocolate flavour, soft and sweet on the tongue with roast malt well in the background, but giving just a little bitterness right at the finish.
