Brewed with actual beaver milk! Okay, probably not but this has easily the most lactose of any beer I’ve ever had. Like to the point it was actually kind of distracting. Nice dark malt, chocolate and coffee aroma and flavor but the mouth-coating lactose affect got old.

caesar (5799) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - JUN 15, 2015
Bottle from Biernavigatie, BB 15th June 2015, large sample. Dark brown color, small frothy brown head quickly disappearing to as flat as oil. Aroma of roast, coffee, bit grainy, slight lactose. Malty bitterness, quite some roast again, slight sweet. Bit dry in the finish. Could have been more creamy. Still quite tasty.
