12oz bottle. Poured a deeper amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, citrus and some grains. Tastes of caramel, citrus, grainy, and toasted malts. Thinner body.

Jan 24, 2010 Pours a clear deep and dark amber color. Aroma is of malts, hops, bread, and a little nuttyness. Flavor reminds me of an English Ale. It has a lot of malts, with some honey and hops. This is loaded with Lobster!!!! Ha ha yeah right. Leaves a malt aftertaste. It’s more of a session style beer to me.

Dec 6, 2009 Bottle. Body is a reddish brown, supporting a small and short lived head. Aromas are weak and malty... a little caramel and nuts. Flavor is also pretty mild. A bit of caramel malt, a faint nuttiness and a hint is herbal hops to add a little bitterness to the finish is about it.

Dec 4, 2009 Tap->honker: Pours a diminishing, frothy, white head atop a very carbonated red, clear body. Good lacing. Some hoppy aroma, thin mouthfeel, bitter on the palate, finishing bitter. Not a bad beer in the right setting (seafood restaurant in ME), but otherwise not spectacular.

Nov 21, 2009 Draft in Kittery, ME. Pours a clear amber brown color with a small off white head. Nose is lightly nutty with a light brown sugar and syrup note. Palate is thin and a little creamy. Flavor is light butter and some syrupy sugar notes.

Nov 11, 2009 Amber pour with a fizzy offwhite head. Aroma is very toasted malt and bitter hops. Flavor is Toffee, more toasted malt, some light fruitiness and bitter hops at the finish which impart some nice dryness to the ale. Much nicer as it warms, very mild and drinkable.

Nov 7, 2009 From the 12 fl. oz. bottle with an August ’10 expiration date. It pours copper with ruby highlights and a hefty, frothy off-white head. Strong fruity and malt aroma. Creamy texture on the tongue. The taste is of sweet malts with a nice American hops follow up. It ended on the dry side.

Oct 14, 2009 On tap ain Long ISland. Great amber ale. Nice malty taste. Nicely carbonated. Great amount of hops to add a slightly bitter finish.

Oct 6, 2009 Brown to copper in color with a fluffy khaki colored head. Caramel and stewed fruit mix with earthy herbal hops. Toasted wheat bread flavors in the front. Middle has a a touch of butterscotch that leads to a sourdough taste. Herbal hops take away any sweetness and adds acidity into the finish. Some toasted dry grains and generic bitterness in the linger.
