355ml brown bottle. Bottle states abv is 4.7%. Pours out a clear amber-red shade, big beige head with decent retention and light lacing. Nose is pretty straightforward caramel malt. Taste has a caramel malt start, fruity middle, finishes with grains and caramel, and a little citrus bitterness. Light body, medium to high carbonation, pretty lively. Typical amber, sessionable.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 BillKismet (2753) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 14, 2012
This one pours a sparkling amber body and is topped with a dense, 1/2 inch lightly beige cream head. Pleasant bouquet of fresh grains and some bubblegum/cotton candy. Light to medium-bodied with again, the appearance of some cotton candy, burnt sugar notes that supercede the soft grainy body. Toasty malt and caramel finish with a touch of wet shoe.

Bottle. Deep coppery red, medium off-white head. Fruity caramel aroma and flavour, low bitterness. a simple amber; a style that, for me, was the bridge away from lagers into the world of craft beer.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 OleR (3648) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 28, 2012
0.355 L bottle picked up @Centra, Colloseum, Oslo. Pours a bright and crystal clear dark reddish amber body, covered by a finger of greyish blond head. Plummy and red berry-like fruitiness to the nose, backed by a whiff of sweet-scented caramel. Some fine fruit flavors as well, jammy plums maybe. Medium malt body. Spiced caramel, faint nutty, and a touch of sour bread. Mild hop bitternesss. Clean mouthfeel. A light astringency in the finish. A decent ale with good drinkability.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 BrewDad (3667) - Olympia, Washington, USA - FEB 28, 2012
Amber in color, clear with a thin white head. Light malt and hops aroma. Light skunk like flavor. This was a decent beer for the occasion. I wish it had more flavor and added hops finish.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 larsga (4650) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 24, 2012
Medium beige head. Clear brown body. Caramelly earthy nutty
aroma with floral fruity notes. Dry-sweet nutty caramelly taste
with perfumy floral notes. Mid-bodied. Fizzy, sharpish
mouthfeel. Dry-bitter metallic nutty caramelly aftertaste with
oily floral notes. I guess it’s OK, but not a major beer. (0.355l
bottle, Centra Colosseum, Oslo.)
