Cola black stout with a large dark beige / mocha head. Watery roastiness on the nose. Watery body. Cooked vegetables, roastiness, water. This is not my thing. This is just bad. Looks really good but tastes a lot worse.

Pitch black, tan head. Sweet smoky, roasted aroma. Watery and carbonated palate. Roasted flavor comes prominent in aftertaste and leaves bitter tar taste on the tongue.

BBE May 2013 - Pours pitch black with a carbonated light brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, lactic notes, hints of vegetables and rye. Taste is mildly roasty, carbonated, sweetish with hints of licorice and oatmeal. Finish is smooth, mildly sweet with hints of roastiness and milky notes. Decent stout.

Pours deep dark red, almost black color with a medium sized beige head. Aroma of dark fruits, oat, mild chocolaty notes, mild dark berries and caramel. Flavor of dark berries, mild roasted malts, some dark fruit notes and licorice. Dry, ashy palate with a mild sweetish berry finish. Nice.

Bottle. Dark brown cola color with no head. Aroma of syrup, nuts and butterscotch. Flavors are roasted malt and lemon. Slightly watery. Oily feel.

Bottle. Very dark brown - almost black, average and mostly diminishing dark brown head. Moderate, malty - some oat and lightly sweetish aroma, roasted malt - faint burnt malt. Body is medium, malty - some oat and lightly sweetish flavor, light roasted malt, light coffee and faint hoppyness. Finish is average to long, malty - some oat and lightly sweetish, some roasted malt - light burnt malt, light coffee and light hoppyness. OK lightly sweetish and oaty 4,7% stout - could use more body.

Bottled (thanks TBone!). Very much black colour, small brown head. Aroma is nutty, chocolaty, mild liquorice, ashes and some sweet malts. Flavour is mild lactic notes, chocolate, ashes, old coffee and some slight roasted notes. Feels very strong and bodied for being 4.7 %...

Aroma is sweetish and somewhat tart with oat, cocoa, coffee and hints of licorice. Flavour is somewhat tart with oat, chocolate, some cocoa, citrus and hints of orange. Nice, I like the roastiness and chocolate aromas here. The sour and/or tart notes are too strong though.
