A big sweet and fruity aroma from that yeast. The mix of dry yeast and intense bitterness is almost overwhelming. It’s a good one but compared to a lot of the Oregonian saisons that have surfaced over the last year, not my favourite.

Draft at Les Caves, Corvallis. They call it a hoppy farmhouse ale, and I can’t say anything that I experienced would cause me to argue. Lots and lots of hops, floral and citrus notes prominent in aroma and finish, super fresh, and well balanced despite the hoppiness. Orangeish body with a good amount of white head, body is really lively. Only complaint is that perhaps the wild character of the yeast isn’t given quite enough space to shine amidst the hops, but really nice overall. Welcome to Oregon, Agrarian. I’m looking forward to trying more.
