Fruitiness and grassy citrus tones to the aroma. Clear golden body with low white head that recedes to ring. Fruity up front with some light bitterness and a metallic aftertaste. Light body with strong carbonation. Bottle. Entered from notes.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Rastacouere (5919) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 9, 2004
Mysteriously found this in a Montreal grocery store, must be a few years old. Cloudy (with lots of sediments)Brownish amber with an initially big off-white head that doesn't survive the chalice test. Light aroma of mild herbal hops and malty orange. Rather sweet malt with a notably short finish, dry and slightly bitter, but noticeably short-lived, with a hint at cardboard, a little overcarbonated for a belgian too. Not worth keeping up any longer.

Clear golden colour with a thick dense off-white head. Sweet smell, a bit of malt and no hops. Medium-bodied; Subtle flavours, a bit of sweetness but not much else. Aftertaste sweet and shows a bit of depth with some malt. Overall, worth trying but don't expect too much. A decent Belgian single, and a great end to a nice evening! I sampled this beer at Joey_Capps' on 13-September-2003 in Hamilton, Ontario.
