The label says: Premium beer…..This is an understatement!!! Simply a pale yellow alcoholic drink with no aroma or flavour whatsoever. End of story.

Bottle: Poured a light yellowish color beer with a small white bubbly head with minimal retention. Weak aroma of corn and most probably adjunct with very little else. Taste is also full of adjunct with a thin body and watery aftertaste. While I understand that they are not looking to attract the micros beer lover, I believe there is way to do something a bit tastier without scaring away your BMC crowd.

daboskabouter (1470) - Fergus, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 21, 2005
Pale straw colour with a fizzy white head and apperent spritz. Sourish nose reminiscent of bad lagers, notes of paper and sugar. The body is spritzy and light with hardly any tastes to note - lightly sweet and grainy. Not good by any standards.

Light golden colour. No head. Aroma of corn nuts, popcorn, apples and fusel alcohol. Oh yum! Bland, sweet flavour, a little bit appley. Terrible and poorly brewed.

UPDATED: JUL 3, 2006 My colleagues are too nice your honour...Sweet corn, grainy maltiness and a bloated soda fizz try to hypnotize with infection-less blandness...I think they forgot to use hops here...There is no hop flavor, and the aftertaste is less bitter than tap water...I would estimate it at around 0.25 IBUs...I understand that Abitibi water is of great quality, but that doesn’t mean that Abitibi beer has to be carbonated water...

Bouteille de 341 ml. Arôme: Odeur de maïs. Apparence: Couleur paille. Aucun col. Faible densité des bulles. Saveur: Goût de céréales. Court arrière goût. Palette: Corps et texture mince. Forte effervescence en bouche. Amertume en arrière goût. (Rating #131)

Moderately sweet malty aroma with some light caramel and fruity notes. Deep golden coloured body with excellent clarity is topped by a fizzy, white, fully-diminishing head. Pale malt flavour with low to moderate fruitiness and very light bittering in the dry finish. Light body with high carbonation and somewhat watery, astringent texture. The flavour and aroma are right on for the style, if whatever impairs the head retention and body is corrected, this could actually be a fair example. Shaker glass, just above fridge temp. Bottle (Peluso, Mar. 2005).
